High School Musical
Report😃 In December on Friday 5th and 6th class went to Le Cheile. The reason why we went is because Le Cheile students from 4th year were performing a play called High School Musical. There were cheerleaders and singers. There were also very funny parts in the play and people bursted out laughing. In the middle of the play there was time to buy food and snacks from the till. When I went to the till to buy a lollipop a lady pushed me away and said the shop was closed. But when Nathan from 6th class went she didn't say anything and he was allowed to buy something. Anyways when the play started again everyone from different schools were just chilling and eating their food. There were some people i knew that was in the High School Musical Play. The main characters were Troy and Gabriella. When it ended everyone started talking then my school walked back to our school which was very painful. Except from that it was great and fun and it was better cause it was free ( Thanks Luke just saw what you said in my book). This is my report about the trip to High School Musical Thank you for reading my report By Michael 😃

( By Helen) In January, 5th class went to Junior Infants to read stories to them. Some People in 5th class had younger siblings in that class, so they read to them which was very very nice. When we got down to the Junior Infants, we all split up until everyone from 5th class had one or two children to read to. It was really funny when some of the Junior Infants started to ask questions and started to interrupt the reader, or some would even daydream! We got to read them lots of stories to them. Most of the books theirs, but they didn’t mind , well hopefully they didn’t mind. Some people from 5th class brought in some of their own books, so the Junior Infants did get to hear some new stories. We hope the Junior Infants enjoyed us reading to them. And thank you Junior Infants for letting us come your class and letting us read to you! The Alder Class. Trip to trinity We went on a school trip to Trinity college in the science gallery at september because we were learning about space and here is a picture of Lucas sitting and doing nothing. We were playing a game and we were trying to write something but I can’t remember we had to use a string and tie the string to the marker but we can’t hold the marker it was very hard but we finally succeeded and we were split into groups 3 groups and we had a picnic outside and played outside but when we came out of the bus we saw a man eating baby food then when we went back on a bus and waving to strangers . Thats all Trip To St.Luke’s Church We went to St.Luke’s church on tuesday,18/12/2018.We got in pairs and then we set off. After 24 mins we came across Ladyswell well and stopped to look at it.Luke our teacher told us that the well holds holy water. People took holy water from Ladyswell well because they thought the water has a special effect. After some more minutes, we arrived at the church. Colette, the person in the church explained us about x-mas.
We took a photo then we left after,Colete gave us sweeeeeeeeets! Marathon Kids
This is a photo of when we went to marathon kids. After having done eight weeks of running in school for marathon kids. Some people didn’t run the marathon so they were not allowed to do the big thing. This is a picture of the starting line where 5th and 6th class started. We started on a grassy area and soon we made it onto the main area of the track and we all got medals. thank you any questions? Concern Primary Debates On the 16th of November three people, Sean, Mayra, Helen and Ananya,(Sean was the Only Boy!!) debated against St Colmcille’s National School. Above you see unknown, unknown, unknown, unknown Mayra, Sean, Ananya and Helen. Helen was the chairperson, Mayra was the captain, Seán was the 2nd speaker and Ananya was the 3rd speaker. The motion was “Climate Change is not our problem” PETNS was the proposition and St Colmcille’s National School was the opposition. St. Colmcille’s National School 5 & 6th Class visited PETNS. At the end sadly St. Colmcille's National School won. But PETNS was still proud of participating. The end. Diwali Report
Diwali is a festival of lights. It is held in the honour of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi.During this time we learned how to make lanterns. On the day of Diwali people light oil lamps outside their houses to welcome their goddess Lakshmi. People often get henna before the festival. Here is a picture We hoped you enjoyed the report!!!! By:Rihanna & Andrian THE END Alan Early Visit Alan early came to our class to talk to us about his book “Arthur Quinn and The World Serpent”. He also was accompanied by his friend who was also an author of a book that 6th class were reading, called “The Book of Learning”. 6th class came into ours because the authors wanted to talk to all of them. We played lots of guessing games and we got a reading from the two authors. It was really fun because they were very funny and it was so cool. They came on the 7th of November on a Wednesday. We got to learn about both of the authors and the books and why they decided to write both of the books. They even said that they love to travel and they do it all the time and it helps them to get ideas for a new book. Alan also brought some early photos of what the Arthur Quinn cover would’ve looked like, and the other author brought a dolphin bone. In this photo Alan is reading part of the Arthur Quinn book. Even though we already read it, he wanted to read to 6th class because they were reading a different book from us. Alan read the book excitedly and also added some voices. This is the picture of when the author reading a part of her book to us. This was the news report of Alan Early visiting our class by Noon Ali and Bayleigh Kane. Hope you enjoyed our news report!! =3 |
