Shared Reading
( By Helen) In January, 5th class went to Junior Infants to read stories to them. Some People in 5th class had younger siblings in that class, so they read to them which was very very nice. When we got down to the Junior Infants, we all split up until everyone from 5th class had one or two children to read to. It was really funny when some of the Junior Infants started to ask questions and started to interrupt the reader, or some would even daydream! We got to read them lots of stories to them. Most of the books theirs, but they didn’t mind , well hopefully they didn’t mind. Some people from 5th class brought in some of their own books, so the Junior Infants did get to hear some new stories. We hope the Junior Infants enjoyed us reading to them. And thank you Junior Infants for letting us come your class and letting us read to you! The Alder Class.
